The Beyond Borders Program was created to support young chefs in mastering traditional bakery and culinary techniques across Europe — not from textbooks, but from the hands of those who preserve them every day.


During this immersive journey, participants train in renowned restaurants that honour heritage and keep regional culinary identity alive.

  • A 3-month immersive journey designed to accelerate young chefs’ expertise and cultural understanding.

  • A culinary tour across approximately five European countries, with a 4–6 week internship in each destination.

  • Hosted in key gastronomic cities, where participants train in carefully selected restaurants renowned for preserving authentic techniques and celebrating true local cuisine.

  • Young chefs with a passion for bakery craftsmanship and culinary diversity

  • Confident with social media or eager to develop those skills

  • Motivated to represent Panesco as a brand ambassador on social media and at events (e.g. trade fairs)

  • Recently graduated or soon-graduating

  • Languages: English required

  • EU citizen

  • Minimum age: 18 years

  • International exposure through hands-on experience across multiple European culinary hotspots.

  • Training in reputable international restaurants, working with the finest local ingredients to create authentic regional dishes.

  • Mastery of authentic techniques, rooted in traditional preparation and presentation methods specific to each culinary heritage.

  • Participation in leading Food Service events and fairs, such as Horeca Expo or Anuga.

  • Practical social media experience, including the creation of tailored culinary content to build your professional profile and share your journey.
