New Panos flagship store at Brussels Airport

Autogrill opens a new Panos store at Brussels Airport. The new flagship store celebrates Panos’s 40th anniversary with a completely new look and feel. The crowd’s favourite when it comes to sandwiches, pastries and snacks, is located prominently in the departure hall and will be open every day from 4 am to 8.30 pm.


Trends Talk Kanaal-Z - interview CEO Guido Vanherpe

Guido Vanherpe, CEO of La Lorraine Bakery Group, was invited May 2022 at Trends Talk, the weekly talk show on Belgian economic television channel Kanaal Z. During the half-hour interview, general topics were discussed such as the history of our family business, how we are organised, what our growth plans are, ... On the other hand, hot topics such as our recently published annual results, the war in Ukraine and the wheat shortage in Europe.

Panos launches new innovative menu

Belgian newspapers Het Laatste Nieuws and La Dernière Heure interviewed our CEO Guido Vanherpe on the brand new menu we launched in our 280 Panos stores in Belgium. An innovative menu, focusing on new rustic breads, new recipes, more local ingredients and 100% biodegradable packaging.


Chez Claire

In 2019, LLBG took over the small but booming business 'Chez Claire', which focuses on high-end éclairs (popular kind of patisserie). Since November 2020, our new brand is nationally available in the Belgian supermarket chain Delhaize.


Launch bread made with Leffe beer

Three Belgian companies decided to join forces for a new solidarity project during the COVID-19 crisis. La Lorraine Bakery Group, retailer Delhaize and AB InBev brewery developed two exclusive breads made with unsold, leftover Leffe beer that reached its expiry date. For every five loaves sold in the Delhaize stores, a family loaf (800g) was donated to the Belgian Food Banks.


La Lorraine pastry conquers Arab hotels

Article in Belgian financial newspaper 'De Tijd' on how western viennoiserie and bake-off technology is making its way to the huge hotel chains in the Arab world (in Dutch).


Best Belgian company on the Polish market

La Lorraine Bakery Group receives the 'Eagle of Polish Economy' award as the best Belgian company on the Polish market.

Family Business Award

In 2016 LLBG has been awarded the Family Business Award of Excellence.
