What do you do on an average day at La Lorraine Bakery Group?
Dušan: “The honest answer? I start every day with a smile. It’s such a gift to love what you do for a living. I often visit customers to show them samples. I first bake them to perfection at our office. And I frequently help customers with their problems. Sometimes these are restaurant customers, but it can also be food trucks. I always enjoy it. Customers usually ask for support with programming their ovens or training their staff. My days are varied but always filled with creative chats with other food lovers.”
What tips and tricks would you like to share with our B2B customers?
Dušan: “The best thing that can happen is when customers become real fans. Because then it’s more than just routine: it’s something they’re looking forward to. They’re happy to see you and take a coffee break with you. But to get to that point, you need to pay attention to all the little extras. You need to be proactive in helping your customers, offering solutions before they even have a question or problem. Details are everything.”
What tasty trends do you see on the horizon?
Dušan: “The desire for healthy food is growing in all sectors, including ours. Many of our customers are asking about it. Healthier breads like wholegrain or rye breads are becoming more popular. This trend has been developing for a while but shows no signs of stopping. I am also seeing more breads from North Africa and the Far East popping up left, right and centre. This used to be a rarity, but it’s nice that we now have the opportunity get to know breads from all over the world!”
