Burger with pulled pork, coleslaw & chipotle mayo

1 Rose roll salt & pepper 110

150 g pulled pork

50 g white cabbage, grated

50 g carrot, grated

20 g mustard dressing

20 g mayonnaise

5 g chipotle (pepper)

extra: pickled vegetables

The Rose Roll Salt & Pepper is a unique wheat roll with a crunch crust flavoured with plant-based oil, sea salt and black pepper. The inside is just as delicious, thanks to its mild, fresh flavour. Delicious with trendy ingredients such as pulled pork.

Mise en place

< Max 1 day in advance >

Make the coleslaw: mix the white cabbage with the carrot and mustard dressing. Flavour with salt and pepper. Make the chipotle mayonnaise: mix the chipotle (pepper) with the mayonnaise. Store in the fridge.


< Max 4 hours in advance >

Defrost and bake the Rose Roll Salt & Pepper as indicated on the packet. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.

Preparation

  1. Heat the pulled pork.

  2. Cut the freshly baked Rose Roll Salt & Pepper open and assemble your roll: first the chipotle mayonnaise, then the pulled pork.

  3. Top with the coleslaw, pickled vegetables and freshly ground salt and pepper.

  4. Serve immediately!

Tip 1

"Chipotle is a dried, smoked jalapeño pepper. It is very popular in Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. This pepper is quite hot, so use in moderation in your mayonnaise."


Tip 2

"You are looking for an alternative to chipotle? Then use harissa, sambal or a combination of ½ chilli flakes (for a spicy touch) and ½ paprika (for a smoky touch)."

"Lots of vegetarian customers? Then replace the pulled pork with pulled eggplant, jackfruit or mushroom. Why not use vegan mayonnaise to allow your vegan customers to enjoy this dish as well?"
